mORMot can be used whenever you need a web service. I’ve been on a project where we replaced an email-driven server with a REST API using mORMot.

It’s a highly performant library and is used in production by various companies. I don’t know what the current state of DataSnap is, but according to at least one (admittedly dated) article, mORMot is more stable.

As a bonus, it’s also compatible with FreePascal.
